Resident Evil Confidential Report File #2 is a turn-based strategy game released for the mobile phone in 2006 and is another installment in the Resident Evil franchise. It uses turn-based movement and combat utilizing a grid system. Like Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2, each game features two scenarios with two different characters. It was purchased from the Capcom Party site on docomo phones with a subscription fee of 315 yen/month.
It has been two days since rookie cop Tyler Hamilton escaped from Umbrella's facility. With the city quarantined, he has remained at the local police station. He answers an emergency phone call from the local university dormitory, the mysterious man telling him there are survivors trapped there. Tyler travels to the university to investigate. Naomi meanwhile has intercepted the call and works out it is being sent by an FBI informer.
