Just Until Morning is a first-person horror game set during a single night shift at a 24-hour rural gas station. From 23:00 to 07:00 the player serves customers at the register, restocks shelves, takes out the trash, resets a faulty pump and watches four CCTV feeds that sometimes show people who are not there in person. There is no health bar: unanswered calls and ignored camera intrusions put the station's lamps out one by one, and a station left too dark ends the shift early. A full night takes about 80 minutes and can end in seven different ways.
Rural 17, eleven at night. A new attendant drives in through the fog to take the night shift at a 24-hour gas station an hour from anywhere, finds a note from whoever worked the shift before, and turns the sign to OPEN. Through the night the customers thin out, the desk phone starts ringing with a caller who knows where the attendant is standing, and the four security cameras begin to show people who are not on the forecourt when the attendant goes out to look. A stranger arrives at the door after three. What the attendant answers, ignores, lets in or walks away from decides how the night ends at seven.
