Update 1.5.0 adds the True Start Location Earth map, with historically based starting positions, recognizable terrain, navigable rivers, resources, and Natural Wonders. Terra Incognita and Shuffle maps have also been updated to provide more varied and unpredictable layouts through different map-generation styles. The update introduces an option to remain neutral when an ally enters a war by spending Influence, along with interface improvements such as the Radial Ruler, expanded plot and unit tooltips, and clearer information about Syncretism options.
