Grymbeard, a resentful dwarven inventor tired of living in his royal brother Wilbur’s shadow, is plotting revenge. He’s constructing a giant mechanical war-automaton, fueled by mysterious Darksteel, hidden deep in the Darksteel Mountains. As the massive robot nears completion, its potential to crush the entire kingdom becomes clear. In response, the Alliance — a coalition of Linirean sharpshooters, Dark Army mages, and other defenders — launches a five‑stage campaign to infiltrate the Darksteel Mountain, battle Grymbeard’s army of mechanical clones, minibosses, and epic bosses, and finally dismantle the automaton before it awakens.
