Fujita Anju, an average college student, finds herself trapped in an unfamiliar location with several other people. As their memory loss as well as the ominous situation indicates that something's going wrong, a weird cubic creature named Dokuroku appears with the intention to hack into their Prisms, a daily-use microship implanted in the body at birth, and enroll them in a thrilling, deadly adventure.
In a perplexing twist, Fujita Anju awakens in an unfamiliar building alongside a small group of strangers. Their memory loss as well as their shared sense of unease hints at an impending issue, which intensifies when a cubic creature named Dokuroku materializes. Dokuroku reveals its intention of hacking into their Prisms, an ubiquitous microchip implanted in the ear canal at birth with the aim of accessing their memories and reclaiming an elusive, world-altering element hidden in the depths of their foggy past.
